With hearts full of joy and thanksgiving, the Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish, through the initiative of its multicultural and multi-traditional Parish Pastoral Council, joyfully celebrated Parish Fiesta 2025 on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The day began with the Blessing of Stalls and Booths, led by Rev. Fr. Marlon A. Magdoza, OFM-Cap, together with the other priests of the parish, at the Parish Courtyard. This opening rite set a prayerful and uplifting tone for the day, as parishioners, families, and friends from diverse backgrounds gathered in unity and thanksgiving under the loving patronage of the Holy Family.
The celebration came alive with a colorful array of activities, including International Cuisine, Games & Auction, Photo Booth, Face Painting, Jam Session, and DJ Music, reflecting the vibrant diversity of the parish community. A special highlight of the day was the flash mobs performed by the youth, filling the courtyard with joy, laughter, and excitement — a wonderful expression of faith through music, movement, and fellowship. This year’s theme, “Family Day – You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them,” reminded everyone that family — both at home and within the Church — is a sacred gift from God, a source of love, strength, and belonging.
Beyond the festivities, Parish Fiesta 2025 served as a heartfelt act of stewardship and community solidarity. All proceeds from the event will go toward the restoration of the Holy Family Co-Cathedral, a meaningful effort that reflects the parish’s commitment to preserving its spiritual home. The parish extends its sincere gratitude to the Parish Pastoral Council, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and ministry members whose dedication, generosity, and joyful service made this celebration truly memorable. Indeed, it was a blessed day of faith, family, and fellowship — a beautiful reminder that we are one family in Christ, united in love and service.
