Archbishop Eugene Martin Nugent serves as the current Apostolic Nuncio to Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar. He was appointed by the Holy Father on 7 January 2021.

As the Holy See's representative, the Apostolic Nuncio fosters relations between the Vatican and civil authorities, supports the Catholic Church in the region, and promotes the mission of the Church across the Arabian Peninsula.
