Ecumenical Prayer Service

On 20 January 2026, His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, graciously hosted the members of the Gulf Churches Fellowship, representing various Christian denominations, for an Ecumenical Prayer Service held at the Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish.

The service was conducted in an atmosphere of reverence, simplicity, and shared faith. United in prayer, the faithful participated in the proclamation of Sacred Scripture and offered common prayers, affirming the Christian conviction that “there is one Body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.” The gathering bore witness to a shared belief in Christ and a collective commitment to fostering greater understanding and unity among Christians.

This ecumenical gathering served as a profound reminder that, despite differences in tradition and expression, Christians are united by faith, love, and the call to walk together as followers of Christ. The evening stood as a meaningful expression of communion and solidarity.
