Monthi Feast at STCJ by the Konkani Community

The Konkani Community at St. Thérèse Parish, Salmiya, celebrated Monthi Fest with great devotion! Over a thousand faithful gathered as clergy blessed the fresh grain (Novem) and dates, followed by the beloved traditional flower offering by children and elders. The Feast mass was concelebrated by Fr. Manoj Victor D’Souza, Fr Darel Fernandes, Fr Avil Rosario, Fr Joe Fernandes and Parish Priest Fr Savio D’Souza. Fr Manoj led a inspiring Holy Mass on family and Mother Mary’s virtues, enriched by the Konkani Choir.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of fresh Kanshi brought from Mangalore, dates, and Vorn, preserving cherished traditions.
Thank you to everyone who made this feast a beautiful celebration of faith, family, and heritage!
