A Fraternal Farewell to Monsignor Raymond Eid at the Apostolic Nunciature
Sunday, 11 October 2026
Our heartfelt thanks, appreciation, and gratitude go to Rev. Fr. Fernando Grande Frías, Chargé d’Affaires of the Apostolic Nunciature to the State of Kuwait, for his gracious invitation to His Excellency Bishop Aldo Berardi, O.SS.T., Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia, to a warm and fraternal gathering on the occasion of the farewell of Monsignor Raymond Eid, in recognition of his many years of dedicated priestly and pastoral service at the Holy Family Co-Cathedral in Kuwait.
It was a truly meaningful gathering, graced by the presence of Fr. Yassa Zakaria and Archimandrite Boutros Gharib, together with our esteemed brother priests, in an atmosphere of priestly fraternity, spiritual communion, and genuine affection. This special occasion reflected the deep bonds of love, unity, and fellowship that unite us in the service and mission of the Church.
We deeply appreciate this thoughtful and fraternal initiative and extend our sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Fernando Grande Frías for his warm welcome, generous hospitality, and continued commitment to fostering a spirit of fraternity and communion.
We lift our prayers to the Lord, asking Him to bless Monsignor Raymond Eid’s priestly ministry and mission, accompany him in the next chapter of his journey, and grant him good health, abundant grace, and lasting peace.
Fr. Sliman Hifawi
