Refurbished Tabernacle Blessed at Minor Basilica Our Lady of Arabia on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima Feast
Ahmadi, Kuwait: May 13, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, was a day of special grace and blessing for the parishioners of the Minor Basilica, as the refurbished Tabernacle was solemnly blessed following the 6:00 PM Holy Mass.
Soon after the Eucharistic Celebration, the priests solemnly blessed the Tabernacle chapel and the new monstrance. Following a brief period of Eucharistic Adoration, the Blessed Sacrament was reverently carried in solemn procession to the Tabernacle chapel for perpetual adoration. The ceremony concluded with the closing of the Tabernacle doors.
The Parish Priest expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the families who generously came forward with the initiative for the refurbishment of the Tabernacle.
The Blessed Sacrament will remain exposed for daytime adoration after the morning Mass until before the first evening Mass, except on Fridays and Saturdays.
The faithful left with grateful hearts, rejoicing in the opportunity to spend quiet moments in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament during the daytime.
