Salesian Provincial Fr Ashley Miranda visits STCJ

The parishioners of St. Thérèse extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to Fr. Ashley Miranda, SDB, Salesian Provincial of the Mumbai Province, during his official three-day visit from September 12th to 14th. We were equally delighted to welcome Fr. Robert Pen, SDB (Vice Provincial), and Fr. Anton D’Souza, SDB (Provincial Economer), who accompanied him.

The visit commenced with Holy Mass, where Fr. Ashley served as the principal celebrant and delivered a moving homily on forgiveness; reminding the congregation not to carry the heavy burden of another’s offense by dwelling on it. Following Mass, the Parish Pastoral Council members formally welcomed and felicitated the visiting clergy, with each council member taking the opportunity to introduce themselves.

Throughout their visit, Fr. Ashley and his team dedicated time to tending to the spiritual growth of both our parish community and the IEAS School. Their presence among us was a true blessing, filled with grace, peace, and fruitful fellowship.
