Installation of the newly appointed Parish Council Members

The Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish marked a significant occasion on Sunday, 31 May 2026, with the Installation of the newly appointed Parish Council Members during the 5:45 PM Holy Mass. The celebration was presided over by Bishop Aldo Berardi, Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia, together with Rev. Fr. Gaspar Fernandes, OFM Cap., Parish Priest of the Holy Family Co-Cathedral. Parishioners gathered in prayer and thanksgiving as representatives from the various ministries, communities, and parish organizations formally accepted their mission of service to the Church.

During the Mass, the newly appointed Parish Council Members solemnly took their oath of office before Bishop Aldo Berardi, pledging to faithfully fulfill their responsibilities and to work in unity for the spiritual growth and welfare of the parish community. The installation highlighted the important role of the Parish Council as a collaborative body that supports the pastoral vision of the parish and fosters active participation among the faithful. Representatives from the different language communities, ministries, and apostolic groups were commissioned to serve as instruments of communion, stewardship, and evangelization.

In his message, Bishop Aldo encouraged the new council members to embrace their ministry with humility, dedication, and a spirit of service, following the example of Christ the Good Shepherd. Rev. Fr. Gaspar Fernandes expressed his gratitude to the outgoing council members for their years of commitment and welcomed the newly installed representatives as partners in building a vibrant and faith-filled parish community. The celebration concluded with prayers for God’s guidance and blessings upon the new Parish Council as they begin their term of service to the Holy Family Co-Cathedral Parish.
