Grand Rosary in Honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Ahmadi, Kuwait: The parishioners of the Minor Basilica Our Lady of Arabia prayerfully gathered for a Grand Rosary on 31 May 2026, a beautiful expression of Marian devotion and ecclesial unity.
The celebration commenced with a solemn procession carrying the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The Grand Rosary was coordinated by the Konkani Community, with each decade prayerfully recited in a different language, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the parish and the unity of the faithful gathered around Our Lady.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ben Barrameda, and featured a special offertory procession presented by members of the various language communities, as a sign of thanksgiving and communion.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of cake, fostering fellowship among the faithful and bringing to a joyful close this grace-filled Marian gathering.
