STCJ Summer Camp 2026 Wraps Up in Joy!
The STCJ Parish Summer Camp 2026 wrapped up on August 15th, bringing nearly 200 children together every Saturday morning for faith, fun, and community. Centred on this year’s theme, “Young Saints,” campers spent the summer exploring the lives of inspiring figures like St. Carlo Acutis and parish patroness St. Thérèse of Lisieux. To foster teamwork and friendship, children of all ages were divided equally into seven teams. Through interactive sessions, high-energy praise and worship, and hands-on crafts like building Eucharistic web pages and paper rose bouquets, the campers learned to live out their faith in vibrant, everyday ways.
The camp reached an unforgettable finish over its final two weeks. In the penultimate week, the teams brought high energy to the stage for “Groove and Glorify,” a thrilling action song competition that had each team singing and dancing in sync for Jesus. The final week put their knowledge to the test with an exciting, fun and informative Bible Quiz.
At the end of the final day, the White Team was crowned overall camp champions. However, every child left a winner, taking home a goodie bag to celebrate a summer filled with spiritual growth, teamwork, and joyful fellowship.
