The Passion of the Lord — A Pontifical Celebration at Holy Family Co-Cathedral, Kuwait

The faithful gathered at Holy Family Co-Cathedral for the solemn observance of Good Friday — The Passion of the Lord — presided over by His Grace Archbishop Eugine Martin Nugent, Apostolic Nuncio – AVONA, at 4:30 PM.

Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ — a day the Church marks not with celebration, but with reverence and deep gratitude. The liturgy included the reading of the Passion according to St. John, the General Intercessions, Veneration of the Holy Cross, and the reception of Holy Communion.

Archbishop Nugent led the community with prayerful solemnity through this most sacred moment of the Holy Triduum. The service was also broadcast live on YouTube, uniting the faithful across the region in prayer and reflection as the Church journeys toward the joy of Easter Sunday.
