The Catholic Church — Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia (AVONA) — is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Senior Accountant to join its team on a full-time basis and support the financial administration and stewardship of its parishes in Kuwait.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your professional accounting expertise in service of the Church community. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations across the Kuwait parishes, ensuring sound stewardship of resources in line with the Church's values and mission.
Requirements & Benefits
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Excellent command of English — written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid Kuwait Driving License
- High integrity, attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to work collaboratively
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification — considered an advantage
