Konkani Nurses Care Kuwait – Thanksgiving Mass
Ahmadi, Kuwait: On the occasion of International Nurses Day 2026, the Konkani Nurses Care Kuwait Group gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass at the Minor Basilica Our Lady of Arabia on 8 May.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Darel Fernandes OFM Cap. The nurses entered in a solemn procession carrying lighted candles, symbolizing their commitment to compassionate care and selfless service, inspired by the spirit of Florence Nightingale.
Nurses of the Konkani community, from all the four parishes in Kuwait participated in the celebration and prayerfully renewed their nursing oath, rededicating themselves to serve with love, care, compassion, and dedication.
The group aims to bring together nurses of the Konkani community under the main Nurses Ministry and to foster better understanding, communication, and unity among them.
As a gesture of gratitude and joy, sweets were distributed after the Holy Mass. It was a blessed and meaningful moment of thanksgiving, unity, and spiritual renewal for all.
